The same three or four people get all the possible answers every single day on anagrams. I have heard from a few people, and before that guessed, that these people cheat. What is the point of that? Do you think it makes you look smart? It doesn't. We all know you are cheating, and that makes you look dumb. I play anagrams because I like to challenge myself, and I have been lucky enough to get all the possible answers a few times. But where is the challenge in just going to some other site and looking up all the words? You are cheating yourself out of a good mental exercise as much as you are cheating those of us who play fair.
I believe that cheating at anything is not fair to yourself, or the people you cheated. The lord does not like cheaters one bit. Besides. Nobody likes to cheat. Those of you who know you are cheating, think first. If you cheat, well, nobody will like it at all. So, please, please think next time!
I noticed the same thing, that the people who got all the annagrams right today have huge amounts of points, and that is not fair. You think it makes you look smart, but we all know you're chating. So please stop! It's not fair play, and it is just plain cheating, not only at the game, but you're cheating others, and you're cheating yourself! Please please stop, this site is not for cheating, it's for exercising your brain, meeting new friends and having a good time. Thank you.
unfortunately those people won't understand what is the word "stop"
they receive a lot of points, but they look ridiculous. Just the same way every day, they are the only people who is in the top. Its unfair! I mean, why cheating? what is the fabulous point?
here here! am! absolutely! sick! of them! I too use my brain and it'd be nice to get a bit of recognition for it sometimes, but no! these cheaters get too much of a kick out of seeing their names on the score board in the lead every single day. They think that no-one knows they're not smart because they have blocked mass-messages and probably don't even read these boards.
I do really wish something can be done about this. I am still trying to think of a solution. it's hard! and you should look at their points tally!
I saw this suggestion from someone else in this forum as this topic was also brought up by Liam and got a lot of responses. I didn't see it before I brought it up myself. The suggestion I liked was that there should be some way to let people win only once or twice a week. Then even if the same three or four people win every day, their names should not be put on the leader board. Instead, the people who got the next highest number of words should be put on the leader board. In fact, I have been wondering why there are only five names on the leader board as most days more than five people get all the words. I am not saying that everyone who gets all of them is cheating, since I have been able to do it myself a few times, but I think anyone who plays this gave regularly recognizes which names should be banned from the leader board every day.
Hi everyone! I also hate these anagram mania cheaters! Cheating makes you look stupid, not smart! So please stop cheating, and let the rest of us get some recognition!
I wonder if there's a way for the admin/mods to block these people from playing certain games if they're caught cheating? If not, there should be such a system in place cause I'm kinda getting annoyed at hearing people gripe about things that probally can't be corrected. Understand there are sour people that do these things and I wish there was a way that you can block these people off. I'd like to put a game room up in the near future for my blind/vi website. Nothing but accessible games and I might cancel out because whats the use of people being banned on this site from playing games when they know to go to other sites and cheat there? So, that's the thing I worry about if I put a game room on my site and ppl cheat and then I gotta hear about it on my own boards. I feel so sorry for the admin/mods who gotta keep up with things under this situation.
Well, the need to cheat has sort of been eliminated really. In the beginning of anagram mania's existance, the person with the most anagrams at the end of the day won 500 points, but this is no longer the case. Since this is no longer the way anagram mania is run, there is really no motivation to cheat other than to c your name on the leader board. If that is motivation enough for anyone, well, I'm sorry to say u have absolutely no life to speak of and no self esteem either. With thaqt said, people, please quit beating old issues in to the ground. If those cheating at anagram mania is bothering u so much, well, lets not go there, shall we? By commanding those cheaters to stop, u r just wasting bandwidth and your own effort. They either don't read the forums, and/or just don't give a crap about who hates their cheating. Unfortunatley, just like life, this sight, along with any other gaming sight for that matter, has cheaters and that's just how things are. It's just a game and I see no need to take it too seriously, but maybe I'm in the minority here? Sure, it's not fare what's going on, but neither is life.
yeah it's sensless to even talk about it when either the cheaters don't read the forums, if they did got a kick out of it and cheated some more. Take the issue to the admin.
